I am going to tell you a story about a dork that writes one particular story. The author of Dork Diaries is Rachel Renee Russell. The book has 282 pages in it. The reason I picked this book is because, I liked the cover because it looked funny. The other reason is because Savannah Sajdik told me it was a good book.
One of the characters in my book is Nikki Maxwell. Nikki is a 8th grader and the new girl. She isn’t popular at all. Another one of my characters in my book is
MacKenzie. She is also an 8th grader. She has it all though. She’s a blonde haired blue-eyed girl who is the most popular girl in school and she’s rich.
Nikki is trying to win popularity over MacKenzie. She is also Trying to win the art competition for the $500 to get a new iPhone. MacKenzie is only trying to win the art competition so she can brag over it. She is also to ruin it for Nikki getting any chance of being popular.
I rate this book 4/5 stars because it is a good book but it repeats a lot of things over and over. I do recommend this book but, only for girls. The reason for only girls is because it is by a girl so it’s more of a book for girls. But, if guys really want to read the book…..GO FOR IT!
